Formerly used as a degaussing ship in the British Royal Navy, BLEU DE NÎMES underwent a major transformation in 2000. The vessel was converted by her experienced owner into a spacious family yacht, and underwent a subsequent 4 year rebuild an Italian shipyard, where renowned yacht designer Peter Birkett and Studio Nattero oversaw a 16m extension, which included the addition of four new guest cabins, two tender garages, a central staircase and an elevator. This second rebuild transformed BLEU DE NÎMES from a family yacht into an adventurer's dream explorer yacht.
Today, BLEU DE NÎMES accommodates up to 28 guests in 13 well appointed cabins, all looked after by a crew of 23. Her elegant and opulent interior design is the work of Pier Vittorio Cerruti, and her onboard amenities ensure the upmost level of relaxation is achieved, wherever you may choose to explore.
