Arvid didn’t grow up sailing. He was an elite ice hockey player who turned deckhand in 2006. Injuries and university altered his course to an initial “summer gig” onboard, but that soon turned into a career spanning 15 years, the last 6 of which saw Arvid captain charters in the Med, Caribbean and Americas. Of all the charters Arvid has been part of, his favourite destination are the San Bas islands off Panama, for their timeless quality and tranquility.
